About Anabel Barron Sanchez

Anabel Barron Sanchez, born in Guanajuato, Mexico, spent her childhood moving back and forth between Mexico and San, Antonio Texas.  Since moving to Lorain, Ohio she has spent the last 20 years of her life establishing her career as well as being a strong presence in the community. She is a revered activist for immigrants and undocumented peoples. She is the co-founder and vice president of the Lorain Ohio Immigrant Rights Association (LOIRA) as well as a case worker at El Centro de Servicios Sociales.
